Should I wear sheer black pantyhose and high heels blacks with my arms only long sleeve black dress?

I go to see Madame Butterfly at Dorothy Chandler Next Wednesday, and the desire to use my quick hug long dress with long sleeves, black wide neck and my 4 1 / 2 inch stilletos heels, but I will not go bare legs. So I think with a pair of black stockings. I would appreciate some suggestions.

You could get away with black stockings, if sufficiently pure. But, my recommendation would be nude or light as a first option. I'm sure that still look great if you decide to go with black, though.
