Best way to remove dog bandage after spay?

I recently rescued a mini 3 years and had her spayed dachshund now. The vet wrapped a bandage around its middle part and the doorman told me to remove it to my discretion if it starts to bunch. He started to crack so far, however, is so strong around her, which is pulling the skin (which is long hair) and I fear that is causing the pain he added. Why did they put a bandage around her? There was a problem with the sterilization? so its removal can not cut, but it could take the risk unless you cut your scissors bandage (not regular scissors) or you can slowly pull or you can pick up the vet and then to withdraw and can also check your incision (which is I would have done).
