How can you start a dress dyed?

I have a dress that has a lot of game design. The coat is cream and cream is a cream that has been game of pure gold. You can dye layer with the accounts or the layer below? label says his silk and polyester and polyester felt is difficult to dye .... any suggestions?

I never made of polyester. But given this, and you are right, it does seem a difficult task. You may be able to find a store that would. Sounds like a fun and exciting challenge. Good luck. Here are some instructions.
